Will standard NAOMI universal panel work?

The naomi uses a special connector, but that is all I know about it. I have not personally connected one using JVS.

It has recently come to my attention that this particular mahjong game is only a tile matching game, which should only require a joystick and buttons. Sorry for any confusion.
