Gameplay differences between GD Rom & Cart versions?

I was wondering if there was any difference in the games that appeared on both cart and GD rom.

For example: Virtua Tennis or Virtua Tennis 2

If they're the same, is there an advantage to having one over the other?

Thanks,

Steve

No difference?

No avantage?

Or none to both. (Sorry - just to clarify.)

The reason I ask, obviously, is to see if buying one format over the other is a good idea.

Thanks,

Steve

The ROMS and discs are 100%, no difference, perfectly exact carbon copies of each other.

I hope that clears any confusion. :smt112

Gameplay no difference.

Regions, no difference (that I know of)

Ease of changing games cartraige preferable (IMHO)

Keeping the security IC's for GD's matched w/ Game = Pain. (IMHO)

Swapping security IC's. = Pain (IMHO)

Extra hardware to Run GD's = $$$

Looks like you have two questions...

Now there is a difference between Vitua Tennis and Virtua Tennis 2

High Level.

VT1

Male players only

No Doubles Play (This is what makes the game IMHO)

VT2

Male and Female Players

Doubles Play

In VT2 it is more difficult ot beat CPU than in VT1 (IMHO)

There are both GD and cart version for both VT1 and VT2.
