How deep is Astro City CP?

I need to know if I can install a joystick which requires 2 3/8" clearance below the CP.

I took some pictures of the inside of the control panel. I hope these help a little bit.
I tried to get a bunch of pictures so you can see compare angles to get the best measurement.

It's not easy to measure from the inside of the top lid to the bottom of the CP when it's closed (the measurement I need, to see if a Perfect 360 will fit inside without modification). I tried to take the measurement today and was unsuccessful.
Thanks for the pictures, Ichi. Can you remove one of your joysticks and poke the tape measure through when the CP is closed and see what depth it has from the inside of the CP to the bottom?
