HOTD2 Dreamcast question
Not sure if HOTD3 on X-Box is perfect (it should be...I'm pretty sure the arcade version ran on 64 Megs of RAM, just the X-Box), but I can say for certain that the HOTD 2 port is crap compared to even the Dreamcast version...slowdown all over the place. Still fun, but I'll stick with the DC version until I can afford a cab. Anyway while we're talking about Chihiro to X-Box ports, anyone know why the original Outrun 2 for the X-Box looks significantly better than the Coast 2 Coast port? The arcade version ran on the same amount of RAM as far as I know.
Can safetly say that the Chihiro versions are far, far, far superior to X-Box versions.
Once again it is like a SNES conversion, the texture quality is the most noticable difference.
Remember the Chihiro has 512MB of memory, X-Box only had 64MB.
The Coast 2 Coast port is flawed.. the Dynamic shadows missing on all the vechicles is a big no-no :smt018
