sega i/o baord max number of buttons etc
what is the proper max layout with kick harness and jamma edge of the i/o board 838-13-02
and can i power this via only jamma edge?

im trying to build a small control panel.
the above doesnt answer how many buttons can be used per player.
and whats a common layout

The Dedicated I/O 837-13551-92 can support 2 players with upto 7 buttons per player, the JVS Jamma from Sega can support 2 players with upto 9 buttons per player.
I've never seen a 2player game use more than 6 per player though.

ok ill stick to 6 buttons each
