what is need to play hotd2 on naomi:



guns + gun-board ???

will it work on a supergun+tv (crt?, lcd?, plasma?) ???



what is the connectic use ? usb ?



someone know where to buy these items not for an expensive price ?

(and perhaps the game hotd2 or others gun-games)

shortly : you need a dedicated cab, you can't play it on a tv+supergun.



easiest way to play gun games, but less good, is to plug a dc in your cab : works well and save a lot of money.

Expensive & rare as these games still make big money for arcade operators.

he say it use sensor, so i think it's possible to use with a supergun.



but it's easy to found driving part in some shop,



maybe someone know shop with shooting part ?

they have to be at a specific place.

even modding a bezel in order to add sensor would be a hard thing and all the sensor + io are expensive as spart parts.



model 3 games don't use the same parts and have light gun like the ones used on dc and other console (well if i remember correctly :p ).

i don't have any cab, so i don't need to modding a bezel,

and putting 10 sensor a exact place is not a problem for me,

i want just found some shop with part for shooting (gun, sensor, board, etc...)



and i am also very interesting to found model-3 gun+sensor, or others

to make it work...



if someone have more informations on model-3's gun ???

The guns are around ?200 each, the gun sense board is also around ?150, then you need 10 sensors, all around ?20 each, if one sensor breaks it can kill all sensors in a chain reaction.



You then need custom wiring, and a JVS I/O board. In answer it is cheaper and easier to buy a HOTD2 machine.

but for "Gun survivor 2 BH" it s seem it need 2 naomi, 2 screen, and link them because it's one-player one-screen !!! ???

I have a hotd kit which i put in a virtual cop cab and that works fine, this uses a gun io board similar to namco based games although these are usually part of the main PCB.



HOTD 2 and things like virtua cop 2 use sensors to work and this is where the problems lie, i have a hotd 2 board but without the sensors you will not get it to work, you also need to remember that these games use medium/high resolution monitors that wont work on a TV.



Like andy says its cheaper to get a dedicated cab as all this kit is alread installed in the cab, again as andy said there is a hell of a lot of custom wiring that is needed to run the game so you defo need to look at the manuals for the wiring diagrams to understand the full extent of the work needed.

if i buy a "house of the dead 1 cabinet (model 2)"

can i put after a "Lost World" pcb inside ?



if i buy a "house of the dead 2 cabinet (naomi)"

can i put after a "Death Crimson OX" or "Maze Of King"

or "Gun Survivor 2" ?



(but Gun Survivor 2 seems to need 2 naomi linked with 2 screen,

so maybe only for one player to play)
