Naomi Game Modding

Hi All,

I've got a bit of a potentially unusual request, I have a Naomi cabinet with a game but I would really like to change some of the graphics on the game, does anyone know if it is at all possible to do this ??

All the GFX data is in surface mount 64mbit/128mbit mask roms, these roms are a nightmare to dump, let alone change..

Possibly also the reason why only Naomi GD-rom games are emulated and roms not?

Thanks for the replies, the other problem we have is that i'm not sure if the game will work with the emulator or not as its one of the satelitte systems, still if we could get the roms dumped any ideas where we'd start ? Is there a kind of file system on there or are all the gfx kind of dumped together?

Any help gratefully recieved...

There is this guy at the Guru Rom Dumps website is doing this sort of thing with all types of games, including the Naomi. He has all sorts of dumping equipment at his facility and has successfully dumped some carts. Unfortunately, the site is down at the moment. :smt102
