Silly question perhaps, but did you fasten the ROM board with the supplied bolts? I know that if I do not fasten my DIMM board, it will often fail to work correctly.
If you do not have the bolts, you can use standard M3x30, flat head type.
Yes. There are 4 holes in the cartridge, one on every corner. Install the cartridge on the Naomi, and put in a M3x30 (that is a 3mm bolt, 30mm long) in every hole. Fasten all 4.

They are a TSSOP package, NOT the SSOP. The SSOP is too big to fit.
The are available from Mouser as well. I just replaced 6 of them on a stubborn Marvel vs. Capcom 2 cart. It would run fine at 5.0 volts but lock up at 5.15 before I replaced them.
just remembered i bought some of them sometime ago to replace some bad ones. been a hard time to find that culprit.
anyway, i want to ask, how do you guys clean/repaired corroded issue? i just can't think of any instead of replace whole motherboard.
