Can I link 2 NAOMI cabs together via .NET DIMM?

Looking to play some linked games



I have 2 NAOMI 2 MB's and 2 .net dimms



Can I use these to link any cabinets together to play any titles?



If so which titles?



What else do I need to do?

The answer would be, no. Linking of Naomi systems is done with communication boards over fiber-optic cables. The '.Net' portion of the Dimm system is used mostly for communicating game data such as high scores in Japan only. Another use would be for the control interface for the Cycraft motion control system (a motion control cab).



Linking of cabs is as follows:



a) A com board for each Naomi

b) At least 2 TosLink fiber optic cables (for Rx and Tx)

c) At least 2 linkable games with the same software revision

d) All necessary hardware for each Naomi (I/O, sound, etc).

Is the 3.17 bassically so play the games which require latest firware rev?

VF4:FT is the only game at this time that requires this software revision.
