Virtua Striker 4 2006's card reader connection to jamma i/o

Post by OldFoo »

Hi,

with the help of some friends who sent me picture of their cabs and the original manual of Vs4(it is full of mistake, who did those wiring diagram was dronk 100% ) now I should be able to add Vs4's card reader to my cab.......I just have a little problem........in my cab I have wired a standard jamma i/o board and not the 60 pins verion used in VS4 cabs....

Here is the problem....Does anyone know how to connect the two card readers to the jamma i/o board?

Becuase of many reason I can't switch my i/o with the 60 pins one!! :smt010

As far as I know, you cannot connect card readers to the standard JAMMA I/O. You will need to use the JVS I/O to do that.. Perhaps they can be daisy-chained to each other? Never actually tried that.. ;-)

thanks for repling..... ;)

from my point of you the two i/o we are speaking about have the same pin-out, to manage the card readers the jvs i/o use the output pins( I don't remember the pins numbers now) , those are the same pins used for driving games lamps(pin 50 to 56 on jvs i/o) and as far as I know even the jamma I/o can manage them too, see the Crazy taxi WD.....

I think I just need to know the right pins......

any comment from the above???Andy........ :D
