Help with Sega I/O wiring

I have the sega I/O jamma board rev b., I didnt have the audio amp hooked up yet, what I did was accidentally connected the power from the I/O board that would noramlly feed the naomi mobo, so I would have gotten double the 12V and 5V power. After that I noticed the laser wasnt working on the gd-rom drive and I was getting that error. Josh a couple of posts up said swap the lens assembly with the one in my dreamcast which I did but still gettin the same error. And I am using the official sega power supply, to power everything, nothing from the cab, except for in this case I pwered an additional 5V and 12V through the cab.

This may sound odd, but do you have another I/O that you can swap? If not, try going into the Naomi setup and test the I/O board to see if it is running correctly. I had a GD error code one time and it had to do with the communication with the usb.
