Will a NASCAR cab support Outrun 2?

So I somewhat foolishly picked up a NASCAR deluxe machine. I want to put Outrun 2 in it. If I swap in a Chihiro mobo/gd-rom will the cabinet support it without issue? Steering/feedback will work fine and everything?

Or will there be an issue of some sort?

I poked around and read some posts about it, but I want to make double sure before investing in the Chihiro board n whatnot.

I believe the game will run but you won't get any force feedback through the steering. Pedals will work and you will be able to steer - will probably have to use auto transmission though.
