Hi everyone, I work at an arcade and I'm trying to record Naomi games to a camcorder. However, I'm having some problems with the output.
I'm using a VGA to TV converter and the output signal ends up looking like it's out of synch on the camcorder. I'm going to try switching the output from 31k to 15k (it's running on a Namco Cyber-Lead cabinet) but in the meantime, has anyone had any success with a NAOMI-Camcorder recording?
I had it working once before with an alternate solution, a JAMMA-S-Video converter which then outputted to the camcorder, but for a game installed in a Japanese cabinet that uses VGA inputs, that isn't practical.
Thanks in advance for your help!
Recording NAOMI games via Camcorder
You might have better luck recording to a VCR. Camcorders have a strange way of dealing with certain signals and it's a little different with each model. Camcorders are best used recording from the lens because it doesn't have to 'sync' with any other signal. VCR's are much better at this.
I hope this helps!
I hope this helps!

id suggest HAUPPAUGE both NTSC and PAL depending on your region or a non PCI USB 2.0
