Virtua Striker 2 2000 Wont Boot

Hello All,

I just purchased off of ebay a VS2-2k cart. Plugging that baby into my Namoi MB with capcom Version D bios and a capcom IO I get the message Error 01 carterage not supported by this Motherboard... or something along those lines.

Is this a bios issue or something else? A thought just occurred to me... perhaps this carterage require the system run in high-res mode?

Any input is appreciated!

runs fine on low res...this one worked great on EXP and JAP bios for me... a good clean could maybe do the job...

Sounds like the connector on either the cart or mainboard is damaged, check for any dirt, or bent pins.

Sometimes carts/mainboards get damaged when you insert/remove cartridges.

Error 01 = normally because the cartridge is not inserted correctly or faulty

Error 02 = is invalid region.

Thanks for the info! I will try again after cleaning the pins. I have two MB's, one of which I bought through here awhile back, and that one does have a bent pin which is why I didn't try using it until yesterday. I thought that I bent the pin back sufficiently but probably not. So I tried in on MB 2 which is currently running MVC2 perfectly fine. MB2 also wouldn't boot game though, I'll give it another try after giving the cart a good thorough cleaning.

For MB1... any tips on correcting a bent pin?
