Test and Service Trouble

Hi everybody, I'm new to the forum, some weeks ago I've received a cabinet with a naomi 2 board, gd-rom and virtua striker 3, adapted from jamma with the conversion kit. Now I'm going to restore it, and some wirings are not correct, especially I'm having trouble with Test and Service, the question is: Can i use external button to acces test menu or I must use the button on the Naomi board? Thanks

You should be able to access service mode through the jamma harness. For your reference, here is the Naomi Wiring Diagram.

The pins should be the same (service=pin 15, etc).
