its is off, then just go into test and recalibrate the guns, mine was way off when I did a monitor switch, as the original monitor had the wires on the yoke reversed due to fitting in cabinet only one way, so try that, what cab did you get in the end?

i tried calibrating..still no dice though...im gonna pull it apart and make sure all the sensor led's are lit...in case one has gone up...i actually think the PSU might be bad...not sure if that could cause a gun issue or not though

i picked up a HOTD2 cab...but im putting the whole gun setup in one of my Unis

I've been looking at this for a couple of hours here and there and I do not think it will be too difficult to convert

Can't say yours will be exactly the same but my guess is that it will be close

1)

IR sensor array has molex connectors inline but has the proper connetor on the end to plug into the Gun I/O board so no reason to rewire here that I can see.

2)

Gun harnesses are almost the same ar IR harrness.

On the Gun I/O board side it has the proper connector.

On the gun side...

Gun Harness I have has molex connector so if the the business end of the Gun Cable also has molex no big deal.

One difference here is power wire (pin 7) on both of my gun harnesses runs off to common fuse block in cabinet. I am just going to get rid of fuse block and replace with an inline fuse holder.

This should take care of the Gun harnesses.

(Long Term, if the Gun Protector Board Mentioned above serves same or better purpose as inline fuse I might go that route, but for now changing over to an inline fuse is the route I plan to take to keep functionallity the same)

3)

The output and power connectors from the Gun I/O board go to a 12 pin molex.

I am going to pick up a mating 12 pin molex and make a harness that goes

12pin Molex to :

Analog JVS loom - as defined above

Digital JVS looms(s) - as defined above (also gonna need a start button in the mix)

Power - As defined above

------------------------------------------------------------------------

For the most part I think that will do it.

I am going to try to make conversion w/ as little 'cuts' in and existing harnesses I have

(so far the only 'cut' I see needing is the inline fuse holder)

Now, I have not seen the business end of the US Type 2 gun but assuming it has a molex connector on it I think I'm all set

With power to IR sensor array can you see them 'lite up'?

Hi justin,

Will they calibate at all?

or do they just fire randomly?

or do they always fire off the screen?

In calibate mode does the red ball move around at all?
