That would be the Shootout Pool PRIZE CP (larger version, doesnt fit in the Sega form factor per se)

Also FYI

http://www.tops-game.jp/part/spot_57_bop.htm

Is for Buriki One, a Hyper NeoGeo 64 Game, so it would be unrelated to what Orrimarrko is looking for I think.

Also as far as the mahjong panels go the one posted was for the Astro City cab, there is one for the Blast City cab, plus I am sure some more. The reason I was asking about this specific game is cause I am not sure if they released one specific to this game/specific to the naomi universal "platform" or if everyone just used the Astro/Blast/Misc ones....hopefully that makes sense.

That is actually the 1st time I saw the smaller panel

Most of the Shootout pool panels I've seen were the larger ones.

I'm guessing it is about as rare as hen's teeth.

Some are from different systems but stilll fit the Universal Cabinet

Super Bishi Bashi Champ comes to mind.

Also, it depends what you would deem a unique control panel.

If the same 2 player 6 button has different art does that count?

For example, Universal, Net City, New Net City, Astro City, Blast City, etc

Also, I have a control panel overlay for Virtua Stiker 3.

The game needs 2 player 3 button support but the CP overlay does not have the buttons in the same place as my other 2 player 3 button. Would that count?

Then there are the Majhong panels (as mentioned)

Touch Panels

Dynamite baseball with one bat

Dont know what this is???

All I know is there are a boatload of control panels with the NAOMI Universal form factor

Wow.

Okay, where to start.

I'm looking for Naomi specific special control panels, not JVS cabinet/Universal cabinet control panels.

The Mahjong CP is an Astro City CP, but not a Naomi CP, hence the difference.

For example:

OutTrigger is a Naomi game that has an exclusive CP.

Puyo Puyo DA! is a Naomi game that has an exclusive CP.

I don't know what game that Touch Panel goes with, but if it wasn't designed as part of a Naomi kit (for example), then I wouldn't include it.

I would certainly include the Dynamite Baseball single bat CP.

Astro Cab CPs, regardless of configuration are just cabinet CPs that can be used to play any number of JVS games. They aren't Naomi CPs by design. Same goes for Egret, etc.

I'm also not looking to include CPs for games from other systems. What would make a sweet thread would be a general CP collection thread, but for these purposes (since it's a Naomi site), I was looking to stick with Naomi CPs.

So, certainly include the New Net City CP, Naomi Uni CPs (3 button, 6 button, 1 player, 2 players, etc.)

Definitely would include the Shootout Pool CP!

Thanks,

Steve

That's cool - where do you get the cards though, and how does it work?

The card reader is powered by the psu's 5v line. The data line is connected to CN6 on the Naomi filter board, if I'm not mistaken. As for the cards, I found them mostly on ebay (doesn't happen often). I also got some Club Kart cards from AndyGeezer, if you're interested you can ask him. I know VF4 uses them, but I don't recall any others that use them as well.

Here's the VOOT panel... it's not really meant for Naomi, though, since it lacks the VMU slot and quick message button supported by VOOT 5.66 (the Naomi version).
