GD-ROM Error 25
I had about 2 or three things all done at the same time and I do not have it broken out by what items cost what. I do not know exactly what I paid for just the drive. This was a few months ago.
I also bought another drive at the same time as part of a package from another collector so all of my purchases and expenses are for multiply items and not just the drives.

You should contact him. When I asked about it he has a standard repair for them I am sure. He will just upfront tell you exactly how much it will cost. It was totally reasonable when I did the math.
To get another drive and one that is guaranteed to work is getting harder and harder lately.
I have 2 right now and am considering a 3rd, but the cost is really not lining up.

Well I guess that you are right that there is not a lot to directly compare him too.
But I would compare his price to what it would cost to find and then buy a replacement. That is a fair comparison.
I do not know of anyone else out there that is repairing Sega GD-Rom drives.
Or you could compare it to the cost of figuring out the repair yourself.
