Gun tests are part of the Game Test menu, so are always displayed. But since everything runs through the I/O, if that does not function, nothing functions. So your problem seems to be the I/O not doing its job.
Verify that power to the I/O is really correct. Swap the USB cable with a different one to see if that has any effect.

Again, please try to take this one step at a time. Don't bother checking guns yet.. concentrate on more basic controls. The P1 start function for example.
i try minimal config. i removed the connection to bc gun board.
i used only naomi, power , i/o board and connection cabel to the buttons. i checked the volts on the buttons. it seems work correct. unpressed i have 5v and pressed are 0v.
i check the connection from the usb cabel , it?s ok. the 12v and 5v power on the i/o board ok. but no reaction on start or credits.
can i chance the bios , with one with jvs test? or can i check the jvs without naomi ?
There are some instances of USB issues on this forum, one of them being a faulty USB connection on the I/O or NAOMI. So, if possible, check for continuity between the components across the USB cable. (measure USB connector contacts on NAOMI MB to and from connector contacts on I/O)
yeb i tried 2 other usb cabels, i check the usb connection from the pins to i/o board else. mhh i have an old bios version 21385 . i see all bios version on mainside are 215xx . if at the newer version the i/o test?
i tried with 12v without 12v, with 5v, without 5v.. and dont know what can i do now. i checked the connection between naomi and i/o card with a multimeter. i found nothing what be wrong.

I am wondering what happened, or what you did after that.. ? It worked at one point in time, according to your statement?
yes he worked a little after this. i start player one and player two. but only player two works the trigger. i shutdown the system an chanced the guns... and i was in the settings and try to calibrate the gun. i can shoot and the naomi calculate the guns new. but the shoots only hit everytime the center of the game. i dont know the exact point of time, then the controlls doesn?t work.
mhh maybe i killed my jvs input.. iam not sure. the input test says, guns are allways "IN" screen. with and without connected jvs.... iam try minimal config with cabels and hairness, but naomi dont do anything on the input screen
