after finishing my gameroom i last weekend decided to fire up my naomi cab after standing around about 3 months ... suddenly i only get GDROM DRIVE error and the drive isnt working anymore ... dimm test says ok but gdromdrive is bad ;(



maybe the drive inside is damaged ???? i once replaced it with a drive of a us or was it a jap DreamCast so anyone happens to know where to get a spare drive ????

Before spending the money to replace the drive, did you check all of the connections? Does the drive spin the disc? Do you hear the fan?



If it does either of the last 2 questions, it may not be dead.

it spins ! also i hear the fan !

What error number do you get? (Ex. Error XX)

Did you try re-seating the scsi cable? Got another you could try? Been the case for me once or twice. :smt008
