What's up with the different bioses?

Hi everyone

I' ve been reading this forum for some time now and it has been very useful so I decided to join.

I always have been wondering why the Naomi system has so many different bios versions. For example, why doesn't a crazy taxi cart work in a HOD2 dedicab? I know it makes no sense but I' m just wondering.

How would you play a driving game with a gun anyway? HOTD2 is the only game IIRC that uses a custom bios.

didn't know about the custom bios on HOTD2, I played one here and it had green blood, just thought a jap bios would make it red?
