Sega-Naomi

Hi Peeps :smt006 ,

New to the this forum but been around alot,as this is the sega place i thought i would ask here.

i have a naomi 2 setup with virtua tennis 2 cart,very rarely i get a lock up(maybe once every week or so),i have swapped for another naomi 2 which sorted the problem.

i only have one spare naomi 2 but loads of naomi 1,my question is can the naomi 1 run virtua tennis 2 cart or is the graphics capability not powerful enough?

I thought that game was a naomi 1 cart?

Vt2 is indeed a naomi 1 game. Playing it on Naomi 2 will not change anything.

the strange thing is my rom actually has naomi2 printed on it but if it works then no worries

Naomi 1 roms are in white cases, Naomi 2 roms are in dark blue cases.

yeah its dark blue casing which is what threw me,i know virtua striker 3 will not run on naomi 1 and thats why i wanted to make sure first with the tennis 2

i checked out system16 which lists it as naomi 1 rom-wierd eh :smt017

Vt2 in a dark blue case i wanna see that.

Perhaps someone swapped the casing to replace a broken one? Or maybe to match the Naomi2 case? :smt017

its possible,you should see some of the things spanish techs do :smt012
