OK so put your dip1 on 15khz
hook up NOTHING but the JAMMA and the PSU that came with your naomi, then try it, it should register buttons right off.
then cross your fingers and plug in the included PSU instead...
then try flipping it to 30khz , if it doesnt work, keep it on 15.

doesn't he have to use the vga connector if he wants the 31kHz?
Anyway, let's just tell him in detail how he switches between 15,75kHz and 31kHz. When looking at the connectors of your Naomi motherboard, look at the top left - you will see something called DIPSW(itch) with number 1 to 4. All the switches should be at the bottom. Switch number one is responsible for the vertical resolution. Bottom = 31kHz high resolution, top = 15,75kHz low resolution
If I understand your posts correct, you need some detailed instructions, right? Not that I could help you there, since I got no cab for my naomi yet and I am also fairly new to this stuff - yet, I just felt like asking about the kHz and pointing out the dipswitch thing

Right,
1st you need to find a suitable place to power the SUN PSU (The Naomi one) and the black audio amp transformer.
They both run off 110V AC. You haven't stated where you live, so if you live in a non 110V area, you will need a stepdown transformer.
If however you live in a 110V area, then you won't need the transformer.
OK, Find a suitable mains feed either in the cab (from the back of the AC socket in the cab) or run a 2nd AC feed into the cab. The SUN PSU needs the AC connecting to the Black & White connector (Black=Live) and the amp transformer will require the same.
OK, the Naomi gets connected to the 6 & 8 pin connectors from the SUN PSU, and the audio amp gets connected from the cable on the Audio Amp Transformer. (You may want to check the voltage coming from the amp transformer is 17V before you hook up the amp)
Right, that's power.
Connect the RCA plugs from the Naomi to the Amp, and the amp to some speakers.
Video next.
If your monitor has a VGA connector on it, then plug the cable straight to it. If not, then connect it to the VGA on the I/O board.
The others are right, you will need to set DIP1 to UP (I think) to get a standard res piccy from the Naomi. If you have a tri-sync or high res monitor, then you will want DIP1 the opposite way to get hires.
Right, connect the I/O to the Naomi with the USB cable.
that should be everything.
Now plug the JAMMA I/O into the JAMMA connector on the cab, and Bob's your mothers unkle.

I live in Canada
so we are 110v *(120v)
we are not 220v
I will Try this tomorow
but my main concern was the PSU since there's a MOLEX at the end no Ac plug to go into wall...
it seems to go connect to an other type of molex connector that then ends (in a Y shape)
similar to connect on the vintage Switching Arcade power supply type

You look to have the wire with the other end of the PSU plug on it. It is the one that has the Black, White & Green wires.
IIRC, the Audio Amp Transformer will plug into this lead too. So hopefully, all you need to do is plug that lead into the SUN PSU, the Amp Transformer, and you should be left with another connector with 3 wires coming out of it. Chop this connector off (leaving about 3" of cable attached to it, so you can re-solder it together if needed at a later date) and attach a standard 3-pin plug to it.
Black>Live
White>Neutral
Green>Earth
Hope that helps
