System Menu Problems

Hi everyone, I am having problems with my system menu.

I have a naomi running virtu tennis in a universal cab. I want to change the game properties and so enter setup with no problems but when I try to cycle through the menus it does not work, it can take 5 mins just to go from one menu option to the next, is this normal?

I press the service 1 button and nothing happens.

The end result is it I cannot exit the system menu unless I switch the machine off.

Please help, regards Ryan

Are you using remote service/test buttons or the ones on the mobo?

It should change pretty much as you press it. It can take a few seconds to go into & come out of test, but not between selections

That is definitely not normal behavior. Does this happen with Tennis only or with other games as well (assuming you have other games). Does this happen if you go to test mode from a cold start (not running for long). If not, this may be a heat related problem. It could possibly be not enough power going to the system. Power always needs to be checked when weird problems present themselves. ;)

Thanks for the reply, I only have tennis and no other games, yet. It happens both when the system first starts and when it has been running along time. I am pressing the service/test buttons that are under my screen on the universal cabinet, I presume these are remote?
