there' s someone who can help me about this strange case???
The fact....
i tested 3 vertical shooter games on a naomi netcity cab....first ikaruga......perfect, the second trigger heart exelica......no problems all it's working perfectly, but the third title, shikigami no shiro 2 after the loading and the dimm check, starts with a black screen reporting "ERROR A01: COIN" after few seconds the naomi reboots and on the logo screen comes out the "ERROR 22" followed by "Communication error occurred between main board and option board"
after all this i rechecked again ikaruga but it works without probs
what's goin on with shikigami no shiro 2 ????
Please Help!!!
Thanx in advance

shikigami no shiro 2 error A01 coin + error 22 ??? HEEELP!
I've had this problem on multiple I/O boards with Shikigami 2 and Rev. A and Rev. B made no difference at all. My US Naomi Uni cab has never been able to run it right, it boots up with this error each time and I cannot prevent it. It runs great on a Capcom I/O but I've never gotten it to boot.
I was told it needs to see 2 coin counters, but I doubt this. I cannot confirm it as wrong because my cabinet only has one.

OK! i'm finally able to play it, i simply moved the game on a nao
unicab instead to use the nao netcity but with naomi 2 this time, it runs immediately....
.....i was wondering....
inside a naomi unicab or netcity there's not I/O boards cause both are JVS.... for I/O board i mean the jamma converter....sega or capcom....
i would like to understand wich kind of I/O board you was talkin....
maybe you are talkin about the little board under the screen where ends
the USB connection?
really i would like to understand better cause i got a little confusion about I/O.......thanx.....

I am planning on spoofing coin counter 2 this weekend using the same method as in the choco maker solution for spoofing coin counter 1 described in the following thread
