Sega-Naomi

Just got a new Naomi system with MvC2 (Japanese version) for my new astro city cabinet. I played for a while without issue...none of the unlockable characters were unlocked yet. When I finally realized that unlocking the characters without the codes would take forever I decided to enter the codes. Everything seemed to go fine...



I was able to get to the character selection screen again to see all the characters unlocked, but after a few seconds the game just freezes.



Is this something I can troubleshoot or fix myself, or do I have to deal with the standard set of unlocked characters only? Or worse...buy a new cart.

First thing to do is check the +5v line on your cab/supergun PSU is giving out enough juice, might want to try to turn it up a bit.

Your problem has obviously nothing to see with the fact you have unlocked something. Crashing passwords havent been reported yet



Most probably a voltage problem like RGP suggested.
