MvC2 boots with "JAMMA I/O BOARD NOT FOUND."

I just received a naomi1 with MvC2 and Capcom IO board and this is what I get when poweing it on. The problem is, I do NOT want to hook this up to a JAMMA cabinet, so I am assuming that I do not have to use the IO board, which also I am guessing is why that error is coming up, but I don't really know. Is it possible to use MvC2 without having an IO board? At this point I am just trying to get the game to boot at all, nevermind any controls or buttons. Also FYI I am powering the naomi with a PC ATX PSU, and it is only plugged into the 8pin CN1 connector. Is the CN2 connector also necessary? Could that be the cause of this error? Thanks in advance.

Edit: If CN2 is necessary, where can I get a harness or connector that I can use to hook it up to the same PC PSU with?
