Hello everybody, i got problems to start VF 4 FT with a dimmboard net version with the 3.17 firmware.....
After the check and loading, it starts to load a second time finishing
with the classic error 01: ....not acceptable by mainboard......
but????
the Nao2 bios is japanese!
the dimmboard it comes from Canada... so i presume it's american...
i would like to understand if the region it's important also for the dimmboard, or the cause it's for other reasons....
Thanx to anyone who can answer me!
Yo!

Post which version you have. The number is on the BIOS and looks like EPR-XXXXX.

SORRY for delay JOSHUA!
i had so much work to do that i forget my troubles with VF4 FT....
OK! for first i have to say
I indicated the wrong error code the last time.....
After two automatic reboot, it comes the message
"ERROR 21" (not "01") the game is not acceptable by mainboard.
The two BIOS i got:
-original (export) EPR-23608
-not original bought from starcab.com (JAPAN) EPR-23605
P.S. VF4 FT it's the only title that don't starts with both bios,
i got mor or less 50 nao games and it works all with that.....
Thanx again !

This error means that the loaded data from the disc is either corrupted, unreadable or is mismatched. This could either be from the data cable is not connected correctly, the disc is dirty or scratched, the memory on the Dimm board is bad or something is wrong with your GD reader.
It looks like you have some checking to do.

Sounds like your trying to run VF4 FT on a regular Naomi 1.

Haha! :smt005 That would be interesting if he put a Naomi2 bios into a Naomi1.
