Hey, I was wondering if it was possible to connect my PC and play MAME in my Naomi cab. If yes how do you do to make it work with the control panel?
thanks

You would need a keyboard encoder. I would recommend the i-pac 2 or minipac from ultimarc. You wire individual buttons to the encoder which then converts button presses to keyboard presses. The i-pacs work with standard mame keys and would have some spare buttons left over for extras such as a pause button, or buttons to change volume.

I have done this using my US Naomi cabinet, with a 6 button CP, its actually probably the easiest to do and can switch back to the naomi very easily, the pc hooks up to the VGA cable, and then i use a audio cable from PC to the audio amp, then just hooked up an IPAC to the quick connects of the CP, so can switch from naomi to PC easily and it looks amazing on the digital monitor, and the joy of the IPAC is you do not really need an extra buttons as everything is already set into the IPAC, whethers it is coin up, pause, escape etc, which keeps the CP looking cleaner, if you want any help or extra info just ask, Thanks Mick

From the response I've gotten, I will make some more of these after I have some feedback and potential bugs have been worked out from the first 10.
