Since cabs seem easier to find in Europe, is this possible?

Is the only difference between a Japanese Net City cabinet and a European Net City cabinet the power?
(I don't think I'm saying this correctly, but) The power cord is the same (or the voltage is the same) on Japanese cabinets and US cabinets, as I understand it.
So, I was thinking of ordering a cabinet from Japan.
However, it dawned on me that it might be cheaper to have one shipped from Europe instead.
Problem is, the voltage (the power cord) on European cabs won't work with US electrical outlets.
SO, I was wondering if the only difference between the cabs is the power cord. If so, would it be possible to remove that on a European cabinet, and replace it with a US cord/power supply (or whatever.)
Just trying to figure out how to get a Net City cab, and the idea struck me.
Thanks,
Steve
