Hello



I am new here and quite new to the scene. I got a Naomi Universal Cabinet yesterday and it worked beautifully. Yesterday evening and today morning I've been cleaning it and now it's finished. I started it up and tested player one controls - success. Then off to player 2 controls - everything other works, but joystick movement to the left is not working. Down, up and right works and all the buttons. What could be the problem? Didn't find anything conclusive through the forum search so started this topic.

There are 4 switches on the joystick. Likely that the one that handle the left is not working for either meechanical or eletrical issues.



Mechanical, Switch Not seated correctly, stuck closed, stuck open



Electrical, wire broken



To test if it is electical or mechanical go into test mode and short the two wires going to left switch. If test mode toggles open/closed then the switch is likely bad.
