I know HOTD2 need special BIOS for NAOMI 1
Is there a BIOS that will let HOTD2 run on a NAOMI 2 MB?
Thanks

Not that I know of. I'm not aware of a comparable bios for the N2. I don't even know what makes that particular bios different enough to run the game. Also, since I don't have the game myself, I cannot test it for myself. :smt102

Only works on the very first Rev of Naomi 1 mainboards, the one with the Japan fan on the CPU, if you try it on a newer Naomi 1 you get all sorts of issues.
Same problems occur with F355, something to-do with the hollie chips.

OUCH
Did any of the older NAOMI 1 MB's come in a white case?
Is there a P/N or any way to identify the older NAOMI 1 MB's?
Can the older NAOMI 1 MB's be fitted into a case?
Any one have an older NAOMI 1 MB for sale?
Thanks

Good News
I have the custom BIOS
I have a couple older N1's. They came with old 'D' BIOS's that did not support GD-ROM's, DIMM's, Linking, etc.
I'll throw the custom BIOS in and give it a shot.
I was hoping to see if there was a way to identify if any of the 3 N1's I have are the right vintage but I can try them all out and see what happens.
I'll take a look at the fans on the CPU's as Geezer mentioned but I'm not exactly sure what I am looking for. :smt017

I have one of those original metal caged naomi motherboard, with an "MC" Sanyo Denki (Made in Japan) fan on the CPU. In fact there is a HOD sticker on the cage, even though it had World Series 99 in it before (btw wasn't original HOD on M3?).
Bob, shoot me an offer if the custom bios doesn't work on your other mobos.
