Found a World Series 99 dedicated, have some questions...

The monitor is a Toshiba with direct VGA input, but if I'm reading the dip switches correctly, its running at 15khz like a normal arcade monitor. (They're all in the off/down position, down being in relation to the USB port on the board)

Is this common in dedicated Naomi cabs? The last Naomi setup I bought was a converted showcase, so everything was jamma and messy internally. Since this is my first dedicated N-cab experience, I'm not 100% familiar with what I'm seeing. The monitor looks so good I almost couldn't believe its a "normal" resolution/refresh setting, and the direct VGA only threw me off more. :)

Thanks in advance.

DIP switches all 'off' is VGA 640x480 resolution. DIP switch 1 'on' is standard res 15khz. You know you are running in VGA mode when you can connect the Naomi directly to the monitor and get video. You cannot do this in 15khz mode because you will get either strange video or an error on the screen saying that the signal is out of range.

Ah, shows how much I paid attention to my other naomi board, thanks for the input!
