Found a World Series 99 dedicated, have some questions...

The monitor is a Toshiba with direct VGA input, but if I'm reading the dip switches correctly, its running at 15khz like a normal arcade monitor. (They're all in the off/down position, down being in relation to the USB port on the board)
Is this common in dedicated Naomi cabs? The last Naomi setup I bought was a converted showcase, so everything was jamma and messy internally. Since this is my first dedicated N-cab experience, I'm not 100% familiar with what I'm seeing. The monitor looks so good I almost couldn't believe its a "normal" resolution/refresh setting, and the direct VGA only threw me off more.
Thanks in advance.
