Club Kart Prize - Hopper Runaway Error ?

I have just aquired a Club Kart Prize SWP Naomi 2 Cab and all seems fine apart from it has a red error box on the screen that says HOPPER RUNAWAY. I have tested the hopper for paying out in TEST and it seems to do what it is ment too.



Can anyone guide me too the cause of this error and its solution. this is the first SWP naomi system I have had but I know the regular Naomi systems well so feel free to get techie.

Just found the service manual on the net which is rather handy, it says it is a hopper fault, ooohh eeerrr.



Still any clues and hints welcome, I will also photo the cartridge for the site when I get the chance as there is no image for it atm.

that says a hopper error in the manual

could be the opto blocked,does it count out correctly?

Will check tomorrow, everything I have read indicates a good "de-gunk" is required. The person who I got it from knew nothing about Naomi's so its a sure bet its never had any maintience it that dept.

Should have a Club Kart Prize coming in soon, which is going to be parted out. so I will have a complete Hopper going

I doubt the hopper is faulty, I've seen this fault a number of times and never needed to replace the hopper...



IIRR use the reset switch and then test the hopper with some coins, then re-float the hopper up.



I did have a fully working hopper but I fear it may have been thrown out when I moved from the unit..

im about to buy a prize pool shootout,i was wondering if anyone knows if the hopper can be changed to pay out a diferent currency coin or token i see that it can suport tokens,but the seller reakons it cant be changed.?

anyone with any knowlege on this? T.I.A
