Hi

I`ve got some problems with connection between my Sega-Naomi, Daytona USA, Sega Rally and 42" plasma TV.

I would like to change the screen in my Naomi-18 Wheeler , Sega Rally 2 DX Arcade Machine and Daytona USA DX Arcade Machine to plasma TV. I wish to connect it via RGB slot in TV, I have LG, Hitachi and old Daewoo plasma TVs.

When I connect mashine with LG and Hitachi TVs, TV is telling me "out of range". Connection is working only with old Daewoo plasma TV and its perfect. Does anybody know why it's like this?

Is it possible to find converter or adaptor for this to change resolution or frequency, maybe somebody know which plasma TV brand and model is gonna work. I heve no idea why it`s no working.

Thank you for your help ...

Benny

I have a plasma but I haven't tried connecting my NAOMI to it. First guess is resolution on the NAOMI is too low. Second why would you want to do that? the Burn in would be ugly. I'd go LCD TV before I went plasma. With a LCD TV there is less chance of burn in. :smt020 I wish I would have waited and got a 42in or 51in LCD TV.

well your 18 wheeler will work straight vga to vga with switch 1 off

the tricky bit,all the others are med res so you will need a ega to vga converter

there are multi converters on the market but they are expensive

the daewoo must have ega support where as the others do not

i am not sure what else to suggest but you need to find a ega to vga or cga converter somewhere

tbh i have been looking for quite some time myself as i wanted to swap out the old rptv on some my sega machines.many people have either bought new projectors or installed 39" tri sync monitors

i have seen somewhere a site that gave instructions how to build a converter yourself

maybe one of the far east company like wei ya may be able to help
