is your cab wired to MVS standard ? sounds like it may be
might have to either re-wire or make up an MVS>JAMMA adaptor if it is wired for MVS and not JAMMA, the differences are in the audio wiring mainly, MVS cabs are wired for MVS stereo pinout and not MONO JAMMA
