Error 22

Now, I know I had this problem on my old Naomi 1, but that thing was crappy :P Basically, it has a Naomi GDRom error if I dont have power to the GDdrive, then Error 22 with power :) Using the correct cable now, Capcom IO, and a Naomi 2 board. Think its because it needs a slight tweak on the 5+v line?

Edit: Definately a problem with my Cable or GDrom drive. What cable exactly is it? Dont want to buy the wrong one :P

no the BIOS from a Naomi 1 is no useable in a Naomi 2 or vice versa.

Yea found out the bios thing and deleted it XD Thanks Meg, i thought that was either the volume thing or a power tweak, so that works for me :) appreciate it

okay couple of questions,

Naomi 1 or Naomi 2 ?

what I/O board are you using ? Sega or Capcom

are you using a seperate PSU

IIRC Error 22 is usually down to the SCSI cable that links the Dimmboard and the GD drive

only in MvC2 ;)

sorry, I dont, only excellentcom.net - they sell them seperately ( i think)

no one ever did comment if a standard cable would work
