Sega-Naomi

Hey guys , I am writing this for a friend as I am trying to find out exactly whats left to set up his naomi he had gotten a long time ago .



He would like to use the OEM naomi psu rather than hacking up one up or using a different brand . My question is ( and this could be different since it appears a lot of you are not in north america ) On the back where the power supply cable ( from the wall outlet should go ) there are 2 wires coming out into a 3 prong connection with the middle connection on it being "empty"





Does anyone know where to get the power cable that plug into this rather than hacking it up? or what kind of pin it is .. I would get a pic but im not as his house and hopefully someone knows what I am talking about.

The assumption here is that it would be going into a cab which had the other end to plug into already. So, given you don't have a cab or don't have it set up with that plug in it, you basically got 2 easy options...

you can hack the ps itself, or (and this is the easier/better option in my opinion) you can hack a cable to plug into it. In my case I had an extra plug so I just cut apart an old ps wire and connected the plug to it and a switch. The switch isn't really necessary though I guess...also you could just cut the plug off and connect the ps cable to those wires...I know you don't wanna hack but it's really easy in this case...segashed might have something you could buy though...ask andy; if nothing else he could probably tell you where to get something, etc. ....at any rate, hope that helps and sorry if that's not the plug you're talking about.
