My Triforce unit is 1GB, Jpn region.

I'll post a pic later of the stickers on the side.

the 1GB could be the issue, make it 512MB

Hey Andy,

How can I make the change? Is this easy to do (ie. something I can do myself?)

If so, anyone have a good 512MB memory stick?

Thanks,

Steve

So, I opened up the Type 3 mobo, and reseated what I can only assume to be the two memory sticks. (Basically, I popped them out, and put them back in.)

I thought, perhaps, this might do the trick.

Nope...still magical Error 21.

Andy - can I simply just remove one of the sticks to make it 512MB?

If so, which one (or does it matter?)

Thanks,

Steve

Those games won't work till it is a 512MB system.

Ok, thanks.

So how do I fix it? Do I just remove one of the memory sticks? If so, which one?

Is there something else that I would need to do/have done?

Thanks for your help Andy.

Just remove a stick and see what happens, pretty sure there is no jumpers on Triforce.

MAD, MAD props to Geez!

After two years (plus), I can finally play my Triforce in my Uni cab.

Removed the left DIMM memory (furthest from the battery), and it fired up like there was never an issue.

I find it interesting that it worked find "as is" in a regular JAMMA cab, but needed to drop to 512MB to work in the Uni.

Now I just need a JPN wiring loom so I can use my 1P VS cp with VS4!

Andy - thanks so much, I really appreciate it!!
