Sega Naomi PSU, AC voltage question.

Hi,

Got my power supply from srabelpawz a few days ago and was just looking to hook it up when i noticed that the AC lines are divided into live and neutral.

In Aus, our AC plugs have got pins that prevent it from being pluged in upside down, but the 100v leads that i (to use with the sega psu) have got plugs that allow for the cable to be plugged in upside down.

My question therefor is does it matter if the ACL and ACN are the right way around for the sega psu ac input?

No, it doesn't seem to matter for many US appliances, it freaks me out too!

It's not important for most AC equipment.

My hi-fi came with a standard euro 2 pin plug, and an adapter which fits around it to turn it into a 3-pin UK plug. The Euro plug can be fit either way round.

It's only an issue when there is a switch in the AC line (i.e. a light-switch)
