I finally found a Sega Uni here in Texas. I bought it off Orrimarrko who originally got it from N80G80. It came with a 3 button 1 player control panel. Now Im looking to put a 2 player 6 button panel in. Following this diagram:

Allthough it may be a Uk diagram, my 1 player stick and top 3 buttons match up to this.

Now as you see in my second pick on the far right I have no 10 pin female connector in the missing slot. If I were to get a 2 player panel and a 6 button loom:

That looks to come with a 10 pin male amp connector also. So I would need to wire up a 10 pin female connector. But although this says its a 10 pin female connector if you look close it is not:

Also my cab has additional wiring. I was told it has us and jap wiring.

Im not sure what is what. Any help would be great. I could use some pics of peoples inside control panels. Thanks.

Hey Finn,

I can tell you for sure that the red/white/yellow connectors in the last picture are connectors for the US control panels.

I had the 2P 12 button panel in there before switching CPs.

Justin included the Japanese loom because the 1P CP was Japanese wired.

I don't know anymore about the extra connectors in the pics or how to wire anything. I just played them as-is.

If anyone can help though - these guys know their stuff!

Thanks. Ive taken off the monitor surround to get a better look at what runs to what. I think I understand a little better now. =)
