The Japanese bios works with nearly everything. Although some games don't work with the Export bios (not many), multi-lingual games will show up as english.

Personally, I use the Export version and all my games work.

Hi,

I have the 23068B (that is EXP) bios for Naomi 2 and nothing is going to work

just 2 or 3 games and one of this is virtua tennis.

when I put gd-reader I can see black screen and not the NAOMI 2 Logo GD-ROM SYSTEM , You klnow why ?

I'd say Export Bios as well, unless you play a lot of the Japan only games..

Buts its wise to have both BIOSes.

Siggy12, sounds like your BIOS is not correct, 23068B??

You mean 23608B?? Then that is fine for Naomi 2 GD-ROM, sounds like your BIOS chip is faulty.

yes you are right ,I do a mistake is 23608B and with cartridge workwith Naomi GD-Rom don't go nothing on video but I can listen D-drive load the rom, maybe don't show nothing to a plasma tv ?

ot maybe because I don't have the Sega I / O power don't o ahead to put out video output ?

when I insert a cartridge I can read the message "Error 02" and if is this bios compatibile I can read the message "Jamma IO not found", with the gd-drive and dimm board i just can see black screen

someone know why ?

Out of that list, only Touken Retsuden 4 is Japan bios only, Zombie Revenge works on all BIOSes.

Yeah, you can use a PC Power supply to power the Naomi, you use one of the floppy disk drive 4 pin connectors, but you need to modify it the pins.

On the I/O you need to power CN7 4pin JST NH connector (5V Power in)

Its wiring is as follows:

01 +5v

02 +5v

03 GND

04 GND

I assume you are using the dedicated Naomi I/O, Part #837-13551-92
