Trouble with button 3

Im having trouble getting button 3 working with CVS on a capcom io



It wont work with just the jamma connector and it doesnt work if i hook up the kick harness to the io either?



But it works fine with virua striker :smt017



Am i missing something stupid here?

sorted!



first i realised cvs runs off buttons 1245 and second, starke had left the io on 4player mode!



The way i have my cab set up im playing naomi with an inverse mvs setup
