Ok, just got a new CVS2 cabinet. I'm new to owning a cabinet, and have some basic questions.







The top left corner of the monitor's color is off. Is that something that can be fixed? I'll try to post a pic soon.



The right joystick pulls to the right on it's own sometimes, and doing moves aimed to the left isn't very responsive. Can joysticks be tweaked? Or am I looking at buying a new one.



The 1 player coin slot doesn't respond to coins well. Any common issues/solutions?

Can't help you with the monitor issue, but you can replace the microswitches in the joystick usually; check the wiring too. If all that fails, Happ Competition sticks are pretty cheaply bought. Coin mechs can be had on the cheap, too. Check your local arcade repair guy.

Did a recall in the monitor options. Fixed the color issue.

Figured out that there was a quarter jam in the coin slot. Fixed it.



I was messing with bending the metal tabs on the microswitches. The joystick works better, but not 100%.



2 more questions:

One speaker isn't working. Probably a wiring issue or a blown speaker?



There is a switch on the top of the cabinet behind the marquee. Is that generally an off switch on a cabinet? Mine doesn't appear to do anything.
