Just out of curiousity. What happens when your dimm battery is empty?

when you switch on the naomi board, the game is reloaded. When your battery is ok, there is only an memory test.

Your dimm board can run without battery

My GD-Rom games reload every time when powering on the system which means my dimm battery needs replacing. Lucky i've got 2 lying around. I heard a new battery needs to charge for a few hours when used for the first time.
