Hey guys. I remember seeing a video on youtube that had Daytona USA controlled with a Dreamcast Madcatz wheel/pedals/shifter. I think it was from a member here. Does anyone know how I can rewire it to accomplish this? I'm hoping to control Daytona USA 2 similarly as well, but I'm not sure if its the same procedure. I'm not worried about the video...just the controls. I'm using a Jamma convertor to take care of the video. I simply don't have room in my apartment for a cab, and my boards are just collecting dust. Thanks guys.

Like most driving games, steering and pedal controls use potentiometers or pots usually called 'volume controls'. Inside your controller, there might be one of these or a 'data wheel'. If there is a data wheel, it might require more modification than necessary. Should there be a pot on the wheel, you would bypass and electronics inside the wheel assembly and connect the games control wires to the pot and applies to the pedals as well. This assumes that the pots are the same value that the game expects. If not, you need to change the pots to the correct value or the game might not respond the way you want it to.
