Does anyone know where to purchase a harness for the Sega I/O's extra inputs? Or maybe a part # from some site for the correct connector? Any help in the right direction would be much appreciated.
In that case, you can use a kick harness. The connector would fit, and most likely the connections are already made. If not, then you can re-arrange the wires to what's needed.
It does fit but the only problem is that the kick harness connections for cps2 don't match for the I/O. I only have one kick harness currently so my thought is this...since cps2 only uses one row of the connector I could wire the second row for naomi. The question is if the pins on cps2 board are dead pins or will it cause conflicts to do this? I may just end buying a second kick harness but if I was going to do that I'd probably prefer to just get a connector that actually fits the I/O. Which leads me back to having to find the right connector. :smt017
I think we are talking about 2 different connectors. One connector is a single row of pins which are used for the extra buttons 5 and 6. The black connector has 2 rows of 13 pins and is used for analog inputs.
I'm talking about the single row 14 pin connector (CN3) for the 6 button at pins 4 and 8. All the diagrams I've found say the 5 button works off the 26 and D pins on the jamma connector.
