I got my VFFT kit yesterday, and got it up and running fine. I am now trying to get Initial D running, but I get error 02 game not compatiable with main board. I dissabled the card reader, and force feedback. Bower has his running with the jap bios though. Any ideas?

I do. I had the same thing when I first got Initial D. It only works with Japanese or Export Bios.

I have a Japanese bios EPR-23605B. Should I try the export bios?.

Sure. I suppose that if the Japanese bios didn't work, that you have the English version of the game. If that's the case, the Export should solve your problem.

Just curious, don't you need a special cab to play games like this?

Well, you will need a few things. You need a steering wheel, gas and brake pedal and stick shift. Having a driving cab would help, but it is possible to come up with something equivalent. For the game to actually run (for testing), you don't need anything.
