Monkey Ball playable with Zombie Revenge Panel?

I've got the Monkey Ball GD-Rom and a ZR analog panel. The stick doesn't seem to react at all. Is there any trick to calibrate the panel? I've heard people saying this game works but the ZR panel but no luck for me yet. Any help is appreciated?

Thanks!

Both are analogue sticks, so it should work in theory.

Never tried myself

Thanks for answering Andy. The panel just doesn't respond at all. I've heard it should be working from people around but nobody ever confirmed this. I'll have another play around in the meantime. It's doesn't need a special i/o right?

I'm interested in this as well since I will do the same after I've played ZR. Does the panel work with ZR? You must have the analog splitter to play both right? (which I don't have yet but soon)

Analog splitter?? Don't have ZR anymore so i can't test. I assume my ZR panel is complete.

Not a must I guess since there are other ways to connect the wires. When I got my (what i thought was a complete) ZR panel only the buttons worked. The analog connector didn't fit anywhere on my cab. But it should work with this loom.

I'm only a newbie though so maybe anyone else can confirm this.

Hmmm, Thanks for that. Thought my panel was complete but this 'splitter' loom seams missing.

Looks exactly as mine. Did you actually play ZR with that?

Anyway, the connector in the middle on your pic goes in the splitter and the other end(s) will fit the only two remaining sockets inside your CP. If you follow these sockets, the wires will of course go directly to the analog connector on your i/o.

I guess...?

Think it's worth a try getting me one of those looms then.

I bought my panel from YHJ to play games like ZR, Gunspike and i heard you could play Monkey Ball with it. Enough reason to get me one of those analog panels. Actually sold the other games before the panel arrived so i never played them with the panel. Now i just got MB left and i'm determined to get this working now. :)

I'll keep you posted on here.

I did a rewire on a ZR Analog panel for the US cabinets (they have a different wiring loom) and when you played MB with the panel as is, the controls were reversed, so had to make an adaptor to convert signal, once done it played fine, Good Luck
