Ok, I finally got Evo running. I had heard that the PS2 version didn't look as good as the naomi version but didn't believe it, now I know better.
Anyway, I'm guessing this game is also compatible with the net dimm as well as FT (saw networking options in test menu) but i'm curious about the card options. If I could get my hands on a card and some sort of card reader would I be able to hook this up?
I guess more directly what I want to know is, is there anyway to customize characters without a card? Are the missions only available in network mode or was that just a PS2 feature?
You can setup a reader for this game. There are 2 types of readers I'm aware of. One is the auto-loading type (expensive and/or hard to find) and the other is a manual-load type mounted onto a Sega City interchangeable type control panel.
Well, it's still not ended yet. My goal was/is to get VF:FT running. I have everything except a WORKING net dimm. I know of someone who has one but he's trying to overcharge me for it. :smt013
Once I get FT running my life will be complete....until VF5 is available..
I can't play it for long periods because it keeps crashing on me, but at this point that's a minor issue.
I don't know if it's me but, I have my machine on freeplay and whenever I play Evo or FT I always fight the SAME characters in the SAME order, no matter who I use. Is this normal, or should I not use freeplay?
